Mental Health Training

We offer specialized workshops and educational sessions designed to enhance understanding and support for mental health needs in diverse communities. Youth Mental Health Workshops: We offer mental health training for educators, parents, and community members to enhance understanding and support for the mental health needs of Black and Brown youth.

Cultural Competency Training: We provide mental health training that focuses on cultural competency in supporting the mental health of Black and Brown individuals. This can be geared toward healthcare professionals, community leaders, or educators.

Relationship Skills Workshops: We conduct workshops for couples on building and maintaining healthy relationships, emphasizing effective communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intimacy.

Perinatal Mental Health Education: We offer training sessions for healthcare professionals, support groups, and community organizations to enhance awareness and support for perinatal mental health.

Clinical Supervision

Our supervision is tailored for provisionally licensed therapists and social workers who seek guidance and support in their professional development, in Maryland. With a focus on cultural competence, strengths-based approaches, and person-centered techniques, our supervision sessions provide a supportive and inclusive environment where supervisees can enhance their clinical skills and effectiveness in working with diverse populations.

Our supervision process begins with an initial assessment to understand the individual needs of each supervisee. Through ongoing sessions, we emphasize cultural competence and strengths-based approaches, providing regular feedback and evaluation to support professional growth and development. Utilizing cultural competency models, person-centered techniques, and supervision best practices, our goal is to enhance supervisees' clinical competence, authenticity and effectiveness in their work, ultimately leading to improved outcomes for their clients and communities.

how it works

Our process begins with an initial assessment to understand the individual needs of each supervisee. Subsequent supervision sessions focus on enhancing cultural competence and employing strengths-based approaches, supported by regular feedback and evaluation. We utilize cultural competency models, person-centered techniques, and supervision best practices to guide and support supervisees in their professional development journey.

pricing

The individual hourly fee is $125 for supervision and must be paid within 48 hours prior to the scheduled supervision session/agreed upon supervision work via invoiced payment. This supervision may involve meetings, document review, case review, report writing, etc. Any additional sessions, or observations, will be an additional hourly fee of $125.
